Envirovillage has designed projects and programs to teach children basic food production and building skills. Youth have learned how to grown their own food, build using repurposed materials and attract food friendly-bugs like pollinators. We have also worked with local farmers to develop programs to address local food needs.

Bug House Workshop Envirovillage partnered with Shahala HOA to host a bug house workshop for local children to learn about pollinators and other bugs in their garden.
Container Garden Project Youth leaders in NE Portland received building materials and a monetary donation from the Rebuilding Center to build a greenhouse and purchase supplies for their container garden.

Free Library Youth in NE Portland learned woodworking skills from Mark Lakeman from Communitecture and City Repair. The worked with one of their neighbors to build and install a Free Library in their neighborhood.
