Kirstin Walter - Board President
Kirsti has 20 years of experience working in the non-profit sector. Kirsti has a deep connection to the outdoors and enjoys connecting with people from different cultures. She sees Envirovillage as the perfect combination of people and the environment. Kirsti dreams of running an education center one day that will provide a space for people of different backgrounds to connect with one another, build community, and learn about sustainable living, all while taking in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Matt Rankin - Board Member
Matt has lived in the gorge since 2003 with his wife and daughter. He has a long history of community involvement which includes being the Director of Community Education, serving on several local boards, coaching at Hood River Middle School and plenty of other community volunteer gigs. Matt is currently a business manager providing 30 years of operational, financial and analytical experience.
Michelle (Mic) Marusek - Board Secretary
Michelle is passionate about equitable enrollment, success and the student experience. She is an experienced faculty with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. She is also a strong arts and design professional with a Master's of Fine Arts from New Mexico State University. Michelle is currently a Student Services admissions and enrollment professional at Portland Community College.
